where are you spring? yesterday was fun, please come again soon. japarkansas signing in yall.
while america is springing into the warm weather, breaks from school and summer beach planning, we here in japan are patiently waiting for even just a tease of warm weather. thanks to yesterday I do now know that there is a light at the end of this tunnel they call winter in japan. as shannon mentioned, kelsey and katie leigh were here visiting (it was a MAJOR event deserving more then a mere mention in my ramble of weather). of course before they came they wanted to know what weather to prepare for...what I told them would not prepare them for the array of weather they were able to experience. while they were here there was rain, fog, sun, snow, nights full of the heater, and days full of shivers. then as they left yesterday japan decided to give us all one of the best displays of spring I can genuinely say I have seen all year! come back now, ya hear? at school everyone tells me, over and over, how beautiful spring in japan is...but is there actually a spring in japan? I mean it is march 15th. last spring, while living in DC, one of my hobbies (nerdy, ill admit) was to follow the cherry blossom "bloom watch"... this festival is on the top of my list.

I may/may not have extended my lunch break a few times to get in extra blossom time. if japan gave america the cherry blossom can america reciprocate with a..."bloom watch"...I said it. a bloom watch would make the season feel closer, although it may just be a fallacy. I am not sure how much longer I can take the cold, I want the sun. I want flowers. I want green. I want birds singing. I want sonic...opps. I want cherry blossoms!
my plea, dear spring, hurry up already.
japarkansas signing out. lots of uki love!
